Project Context:
As Head of Media, Communication, and Information at PPI Utrecht, I led comprehensive community-building efforts through strategic media production and engagement programming.

Objectives:
• Strengthen community bonds among Indonesian students in Utrecht
• Increase organizational visibility and reach
• Create meaningful content that reflects community values
• Build sustainable communication systems

Initiatives:
Media Production:
- Documentary-style coverage of community events
- Profile features of community members
- Educational content about life in the Netherlands
- Cultural content celebrating Indonesian heritage

Community Engagement:
- Regular social media interaction and community highlights
- Virtual and in-person gathering coordination
- Member storytelling platforms
- Information resource development

Strategic Approach:
My approach combined hands-on media creation with critical thinking about community representation. Every piece of content considered: Who gets to be visible? Whose stories are told? How do we build inclusive community narratives?

Impact:
• 200% growth in social media community
• Increased member participation in organizational activities
• Stronger sense of belonging among community members

Reflection:
This project reinforced how media and communication work in community contexts requires both creative skills and ethical awareness - understanding the power of representation while serving community needs.
